More penguins and the children who have to pay for their parent’s sins

No prof reading cuz I’m lazy and wrote this on a whim beacuse this person Draggle wrote something relating the bible, and penguin drum, and I couldn’t resist adding a bit more to it. This is kind of the thing TWWK would write,(Christianity/Anime) but I haven’t seen him doing it yet, so busted.

I’m doing it, horribly by the way, so skip it, because this will probably be more about the bible than penguin drum and you don’t want to read that.

In the latest episode we see Tabuki telling Kamba that the children must pay for the sins of their parents, first I want to say that even if she show says they are the culprits of the Tokyo Metro attacks, we still don’t know what actually happen there, and if they are really the culprits, which until proven wrong I want to think they didn’t.

Anyway what does the bible say about sin passing the parents’ sin into they children.

The one who sins is the one who will die. The child will not share the guilt of the parent, nor will the parent share the guilt of the child. The righteousness of the righteous will be credited to them, and the wickedness of the wicked will be charged against them. – Ezekiel 18:20

The whole chapter is all about tha actually, how each individual is responsible for their own sins and how the people should not judge them.

But I want to get controversial, because yeah, that’s nice but at the same time is not quite realistic, and the bible says more…..which actually has something to do with penguin drum… damn

maintaining love to thousands, and forgiving wickedness, rebellion and sin. Yet he does not leave the guilty unpunished; he punishes the children and their children for the sin of the parents to the third and fourth generation.” -Exodus 34;7

Is taken a bit out of context, but the chapter is basically of when God was giving Mosses the stone tables of the ten commandments. If you are curious then google it.

What does this mean? Is a contradiction? maybe but is actually quite clear, I think.

On penguin drum the God like role seems to belong to the super sexy librarian Sanetoshi, also know as the Goddess, who is the one in Shoumas story who blah blah blah.

What the bible basically means is that is up to God to give the punishment to who belongs to, no the humans, and everybody is responsible for their own actions.

Then what is this third forth generations thing? Will God punish inocent people just because their parents were evil?

The answer is no, but what it means is the the consequences of the parent’s actions will affect their children up to the third and forth generation, it can be consider as a punishment, but that’s the way of life.

So, Tabuki is not god so he can’t pounish.

Also I like how Draggle used the John verse, since it fits perfectly in how Himari is sick (and dying) and is blamed into her parents’ sin, but Sanetoshi doesn’t want to kill Himari, he only want’s her as a bride, or so it seems.

Anyway no pprofread but because this looks rather empty here is a screenshot of Sexy librarian

Ok maybe more than one… but com’on he so sexy!!

Ok this might have been an excuse for me to post Sanetoshi’s pictures… or maybe not

    • Yep, I know, I think it was about Peter…right, I’ve been reading too many penguin posts that I’m not sure any more of who said what but I do remember you quoting the bible too =3=

  1. That verse from John is one of my favorites in the bible. Jesus could have just said “it’s not his fault” and left it at that, but no, he was born blind so that “God’s works might be revealed in him.” It’s a comforting thought, as incomprehensible as those works may be.

    • Actually I love that whole chapter, it has so many things going on.

Because after Jesus heals the man, we have the religious people being judgemental (the same people who, we would think, where supposed to be most compassionate) and how the man decided to believe by himself, and he understood the real message, but the religious people didn’t.
Anyway I got carried away but thanks for reading :3
